Meet the Artist Behind the Masterpiece: Yuni Kristina was born in 1983 in Pekalongan, Central Java, which is known as the 'World's City of Batik.' Her mother was a batik maker, and Yuni started working in the field when she was 16 years old. As part of the Pekalongan regency, Wonokerto is renowned for its batik production, with both stamped and hand-painted batiks available.
